i like to use my mouth to amuse and to eat.

i am a single mother of the most wonderful, high spirited, tyrant, little imp of a son, Watts. named after the late Alan Watts, not the riots or the voltage. thankfully, i live with my child’s godmother, Amber, with whom i’m domestically partnered so i can’t really say i’m too single of a mom…. but we’re not gay, so technically i am single and i have no male person around for certain things, like mowing the lawn. i love my unconventional family, my good friends, food, spirits, photography, music, art, book learnin’, you know, all that gay arty stuff that Amber hates for me to talk about all the time… i love all of that and will continue to talk to her about it all, forever.

addendum: i am no longer single but my man doesn’t live here, nor does he live in canada… he’s real, and i no longer have a lawn to mow (like i ever even tried to mow it) or a stinky mosquito infested pond and backyard of death. we’re moving on up. swanky town home, here we come. yes, Watts and i are even taking Amber and Bruno along. like we have a choice.
